David Latellier, also known as Kangding Ray, is no stranger to dense atmospheric landscapes shaped with his mix of abstract downtempo beats and experimental cerebral sounds. His work have been evolving from mathematical idm to a more obscure ritual techno and “Solens Arc” it’s a prime example of his evolution in sound. “Solens Arc” is a 12 track walk-through voodoo techno and ritual sounds. A dark minimal lo-fi, ambiental techno composition split into 4 arcs (sections) that are as cohesive between themselves as they are isolated, making this album as much as a excellent solo contemplative hearing experience as a more dancefloor orientated trip.
