Antoni Maiovvi & Umberto - Maria
Umberto & Antoni Maiovvi - Law Unit Coming soon via Death Waltz Recording Company. Reflective synth lines, guitar, sometimes ambient, other times in the foreground. LAW UNIT is a masterpiece of hard beats and harder synths that you'll want on your stereo when you're making that next trip into the dark unknown.
SM NURSE - Hometape Recordings 1981-1983
SM NURSE - Hometape Recordings 1981-1983 (Domestica Spain) Comentários: compilation of the best songs recorded in the studio between 1981 and 1983, and never before edited in vinyl format. I deeply want to thank Menko Konings for his trust, kindness, patience, faith and friendship…we don’t meet people like him every day.
A short biography by S.M. Nurse:
Around 1980 Menko Konings (eM.) started the Dutch underground formation S.M. Nurse, first together with Jos Jak and later also with Anneke Stempher. S.M. Nurse experimented with collage-like music and were inspired by N.Y.-ultra, disco e.g. The band mainly performed in the Amsterdam ultra-circuit (Oktopus, Paradiso), clubs and discotheques. They were played regularly on the famous radio programmes RadioNome and Spleen and performed live on radio in the villa of the VPRO in Hilversum. They also contributed to the theme cassette Turkish Delight of the label Ding Dong and there was a cassette release on the label Top Tape. At the end of 1983, S.M. Nurse split up.
The songs of S.M. Nurse are composed and performed by Anneke Stempher, Jos Jak and Menko Konings.
Mastered 2014 by Yves Roussel.

Demdike Stare - Testpressing#007
Demdike Stare - Testpressing#007 (Modern Love) Comentários: *The seventh and final instalment in the Testpressing Series for the time being - Limited Edition pressing including insert with artwork by Alex Solman and hand-stamped sleeves* Hands-down, #7 is the best Testpressing yet from Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty's Demdike Stare. Landing almost two years since the series began back in 2013, and six months on from their last raid, it's a dichotomy of dancefloor devilment, going hard for it on one side, and running ragged emotions on the other. A-side 'Rathe' opens the doors of perception to a show-stopping bloom of heavenly voices and halfstep jungle, ratcheting the levels to heart-in-mouth effect with panoramic harmonies and ricochet drums that sound like a fwwwd update of Windowlicker, all owing as much to Source Direct as Alice Coltrane. B-side, 'Patchwork' is a whole other madness. Shocking in a different style, it consolidates swirling, norish samples nodding to Italian concrète with the kind of 2-step swerve last heard on Artwork's 'Red’ EP - proper feral, swinging business. We seen and heard it go off in the dance and can safely confirm that it's one of the baddest joints in their now extensive catalogue... via boomkat
