Ian Wellman is a sound artist, field recordist, and IATSE 695 Y-1 sound mixer. Wellman has released works on ROOM40 (his 2nd album on this label was released on December 3, 2021: "On the Darkest Day, You Took My Hand and Swore It Will Be Okay", «the album is based on feelings and moods from the past two years, finding beauty in uncertain futures, and hanging onto your friends and family») Dragon's Eye Recordings, Touch Radio, and Industrial Coast. Ian Wellman combines slowed and distorted tape loop textures along with field recordings to create dynamic landscapes. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
