ARK - Arkpocalypse Now (Perlon) Comentários: The Perlon mainstay and fidgety micro-house pioneer returns with his first long player since '05s 'Caliente'. Longterm fans will be glad to know he's not fucked with his acclaimed formula, still creating tricksy house grooves informed by a love of jerky 80s funk and a knack for quirky offbeat edits. There's a handful of real dancefloor tracks like the perky 'I Can Come' and 'Sugar of Brain', which isn't to say the rest ain't funky, but the structure and ideas are maybe more suited to home consumption as an album.
