Celebrate Music Synthesizer Group - Celebrate Music Synthesizer Group (Sun Ark) The Celebrate Music Synthesiser Group LP documents the eponymous gang of Butchy Fuego (Boredoms), M. Geddes Gengras, and Sun Araw's Cameron Stallones "spice-hunting" at Rotterdam's legendary synth archive, The Worm. Recording straight to two-track tape, and filmed by Tony Lowe, the trio plugged in and jammed out the nine cuts of wired abstraction and motorik krautrock rhythms found inside this LP. The results dissolve their respective egos into one fruity electronic soup of alien bleeps and strange, inimitably lush dissonance fizzing with mutant energy. On the first plate they jack up the frothy techno of 'Warung Mini' beside the crooked, wayward Ekoplekz styles of 'Millions Of Deckaliters' and the blunt , screwy chug of 'Worm = Spice", among others, whilst the 2nd plate documents them at their most expansive, attuned, on the refractive 20 minute locomotion of 'Worm Sign CMSG Suite', and finish with a labyrinthine trio of morphing modular misshapes. in boomkat
