M.U. PODCAST #129: NICO ROSENBERG (JULY 2022)

Cover Art by Bruno Lopes (Mundo Urbano). Original picture found on Internert "X-rays of Chinese Lantern plant flowers by Albert G. Richards. Michigan botanist. January 1963."

Nico Rosenberg (Nicolás Rosenberg) is a sound artist and multi-instrumentalist from Santiago de Chile. Exploring the use of obsolete cassette recorders and modular synthesizers, its hopeful and melancholic textures invite the listener to contemplate the passing of time. Rosenberg released ambient albums in countries such as Germany, Iceland, Canada, the USA, and the Netherlands.

"Paisajes Imaginarios" released back on January 4th via Constellation Tatsu (by Julia Gjertsen & Nico Rosenberg) is a collection of piano-based and lo-fi sonic frequencies made with tape manipulation. The idea was to create something that transports the listener and helps instill reflection and enable retreat from everyday life.

"Music Holds Us" Back for sale! Originally released in July of 2020 (please check mysterycircles.bandcamp.com)
