SWEAT X - Ebonyivorytron (Citinite) Comentários: A South African rap-electro fashion-rap double act (yeah I'm not sure either) Sweat X seem to almost be guaranteed some form of greatness from the off. With an eye towards the humorous and another towards the black/white post apartheid symbolism of the act the two have come up with a retro/futuristic dance formula that confounds any expectation. I suppose links could be drawn to Diplo and Anti Pop Consortium but these guys are out on their own, rapping and throwing down insane electroid production as if it's totally natural. Apparently the duo formed thanks to a shared love of Prince, and in light of this it sort of makes sense. If you're desperate for the new A-Trak, Spank Rock or DJ Assault, you really need to take a closer look at Sweat X. in boomkat [Para Ouvir/Sample]
